PARADISE PROTOTYPE / kompas
bronze, steel, brickwork, Quercus PalustrisInstallation at city festival PARADISE , Kortijk, Belgium, 2021
curated by Hilde Teerlinck and Patrick Ronse
A 7 m. high Quercus Palustris can be manually rotated by children, once they entered the jardin close-like construction. Being free of sin they can enter without being punished. Adults are just spectators who can observe the tree being manipulated by the future adults.
The tree is now planted in the artist's garden.
